Hello, my name is Kat, and I am here to offer you a personalized treatment plan unlike anyplace else in Richmond. After eight years of hospital experience as an RN, and several years of medical aesthetics, I knew that the only way to truly give patients the treatments that they deserve, in a way that focuses on my approach to self-care and wellness, along with my love of aesthetics, was to open a practice that centers around the most vital part of my passion: your well being.

In addition to my aesthetics passion, I am a firm believer in education. I received my BSN from VCU, and I am currently in the Doctorate / FNP program at VCU, with graduation in May 2026.

Seeing Kat in action anytime that she worked with a patient in her previous practices, it was obvious that others gravitated towards her (present company included!) The more we talked about what we wanted in life, the more obvious it became that we should pursue this venture. Kat's love for aesthetics & her compassionate approach, combined with my business experience was a natural fit.

I have 30 years of experience in Sales and Marketing; 15 years of business ownership; and am diving head first into the aesthetics world with Kat. I have a Bachelor's degree from Syracuse University and my MBA in Entrepreneurship from the Stern School of Business at New York University. We look forward to welcoming you at House of Aesthetics!

Megan Kaufman

Hey everyone, I’m Megan. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at JMU in 2016 and then went back to school for my Masters in Nursing at VCU in 2022.

I’m passionate about aesthetics for many reasons, primarily to boost patients' confidence and positively transform their lives & wellbeing. My aesthetic approach focuses on enhancing your natural beauty as well as promoting a positive self-image allowing you to feel like a refreshed version of yourself!

Outside of aesthetics I enjoy spending time with family, and friends, reading, watching trashy reality TV, celebrating holidays, and hanging out with our pets. I’m so happy and grateful to be a part of the HOA team and look forward to meeting you all!

I’ve been a nurse since 2017, but my heart has always belonged to women’s wellness. After years in high risk maternity care and floating between the women’s hospital, I realized that care goes beyond the clinical it’s about how we feel inside our own skin.

As a mother to a wonderful six year old and a wife to my best friend since 2011, I know firsthand how hard it can be to find you again after life changes. That’s why I found this space: to offer a safe, inclusive, and bilingual environment where people from all walks of life can be vulnerable and empowered.

I am a firm believer that the best treatments happen when you're relaxed, which is why I keep things down-to-earth and love to share a laugh during our sessions. I take pride in the details of my work and treat every patient as someone truly special.

Jess Birch

Patient Relationship Manager

I am dedicated to creating an exceptional experience for every patient from the moment they walk through the door. I'm a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) with a degree in Psychology, I bring professionalism and deep compassion to each interaction, understanding that aesthetic care is often as emotional as it is physical.

I understand that many patients come to aesthetics seeking not only a refreshed appearance, but a renewed sense of confidence. As someone who has struggled with rosacea, I bring a personal level of empathy and understanding to patient interactions. I am continually inspired by the way customized treatments can elevate a sense of well being. I am committed to helping each patient feel comfortable, cared for, and empowered ensuring they leave feeling confident in both their plan and their results.
